Amazon Coming to Australia- The Next Big Thing

 

The former executive of Amazon Group has recently highlighted about the company’s Australian roll out plan and we finally come to know about the exact launching date. From the upcoming year 2018, Australians will be able to utilize Amazon, one of the popular online shopping portals to make a purchase of various products, which include electronics, clothes, groceries and a wide range of takeaway food items.

In simple words, Australians will be able to receive every possible service including the delivery of fresh food delivery to the Amazon Prime Now.

Brittain Ladd, the former senior manager of the Global Logistics in Amazon Group has highlighted that Amazon’s parent company that the shopping roll out of their company will include Australia very soon. Ladd further said that the company perceives Australia as a lucrative and an appealing market.

Hence, Amazon will launch highest possible numbers of products of services within the entire region of Australia. Until now, we have obtained following updates related to Amazon roll out plan in Australia.

Launch of Amazon in Australia

Amazon has plans to launch its flagship Australian website in both up and running state by the end of the upcoming 2018. Despite it is relatively long waiting as compared to our expectations; we got the confirmation about it.

Amazon Group has confirmed about the launch of the Amazon Prime Now premium service i.e. the Australian version of the website. This website will provide the fastest possible shipping services to members in combination with several other benefits. However, we do not have any update about whether Amazon will bring its own courier service or take help from any third party/parties for delivery of their products.

Overview on Amazon Fresh

Amazon Fresh, as the name suggests has specialization in the delivery of groceries. This website performs its functions in almost same manner, as the main website of Amazon. However, Amazon Fresh portal gives emphasis on supermarket goods and fresh food items.

It has a wide range of categories available, which include veggies, fruits, packaged products, frozen and canned food items, cheeses, pasta, beauty/cosmetic products and household supplies. Amazon Group has further confirmed that it will launch its Amazon Fresh site in Australia.
